One of the only potters selected to attend the North Carolina State Fair on a lifetime basis, a very high honor.For William and Pamela Kennedy, pottery began as a hobby in 2002 in the backyard. After only a year, that hobby became a full time career. They are located in downtown Seagrove, NC and specialize in crystalline glazed handcrafted pottery. The couple love to share their craft with customers as well as the many school groups they host during the year. If you stop by their shop you are likely to find Pam working on their latest batch of crystalline pottery and be welcomed to watch as she glazes the next group for the kiln. Uwharrie Crystalline Pottery is named after the NC State Forest located 25 miles from their shop where William and Pamela first met.
