Len Hughes, artist and designer at Studio 400 west, works in a variety of mediums. Holding a BFA in painting and a MFA in photography Len continues to explore and develop the art of Raku. Len has found working with clay, incorporating the traditional southwest images and exploring the relationship of shape & designs to be a great source of inspiration.
At Studio 400 west we produce hand built sculptures and are constantly exploring other mediums. Hand built stoneware mugs are fired to 2100 degrees. We use only food safe, nontoxic gazes on all our stoneware products.
